Our project briefing was to absorb just the right amount of sound so as to still leave an atmospheric buzz within the restaurant and bar but also ensure easy conversations across a dinner table. We created an acoustic model that showed the reverberation time of the building before treatment
Oscar Elite acoustic plaster was then applied and tested until the desired effect was achieved for the restaurant. This helped to avoid any chances of overtreatment, which could lead to diners feeling a little awkward or uneasy, or not enough noise and sound absorption which can lead to uncomfortably high noise levels and customers who cannot wait to leave and not come back.
Excellent results were achieved once Oscar Elite was applied to the ceiling, contributing to the overall ambience of this beautiful restaurant.
