Studio Moren specified Oscar Evo-Blade throughout the hotel as a sleek alternative to standard upstands. The knife-edge profile creates sharp, recessed transitions between ceiling planes at a shallower angle than conventional trims, giving the illusion of a wafer-thin, almost invisible edge, which is what makes the infinity-edge ceiling effect over the spa and swimming pool possible.
The trim’s aligning slots kept corners and long runs consistent across a large, geometrically complex hotel, and it can be used with both standard plaster and acoustic ceiling finishes depending on the space.
