Oscar Acoustics’ new headquarters in Kent now open for business
Following several years of planning, Oscar Acoustics has reached a major milestone: our new headquarters, the Oscar Innovation Centre, is officially open.
The state-of-the-art structure is spread over 16,200 square feet and situated on a former cement works site in Medway Valley, Kent. Comprising two buildings, including six individual two-story business units, warehouse, office and showhome for all its products, it’s primed to accommodate the company’s continued expansion – and uphold our mission of providing class-leading acoustic solutions across Great Britain.
designed with people in mind
With Oscar Acoustics’ steadfast commitment to employee wellbeing in mind, architectural firm Urban & Rural had a clear vision for the project: to create a ‘long-lasting’, ’employee-centred’ space that places its staff at the heart of its design. The main office building offers sleek, open-plan workspaces, meeting rooms and lounges, allowing employees to work flexibly in environments suited to their needs.
The second building houses Oscar Acoustics’ innovation facility and additional warehousing space, with ample room to accommodate extra stock as the business grows. Initial excess units will be offered to local businesses on yearly leases, providing opportunities for the local community to thrive, but allowing Oscar Acoustics to meet its bold expansion plans as required.
Naturally, every space in the new HQ has been meticulously treated using Oscar Acoustics’ products to create the perfect acoustic environment. As a result, it’s set to provide a separate function as a showroom, showcasing the company’s extensive range of acoustic finishes – from sprays to ceiling trims, insulation to plaster. Tours will be available, for those wishing to see all the finishes in situ.

To mark this special moment in the company’s history, a grand opening celebration was held on May 17th at the new headquarters site. The Oscar Acoustics team, alongside our friends and industry colleagues, gathered for an evening filled with delicious food and drinks, dancing and networking.
It was truly a night to remember, signalling the start of a bright and promising future for the Oscar Innovation Centre.
