Vajrasana is a bespoke Buddhist retreat centre situated in the picturesque Suffolk countryside. With such a project, reverberant spaces with high noise levels and unclear speech would not be appropriate so acoustic treatment was required throughout. It was also important to keep the design simple and uncluttered so acoustic panels, ceiling tiles or rafts would not have been in keeping.

Oscar Acoustics has a class leading range of acoustic sprays and acoustic plasters for every project design and budget. The specified product at Vajrasana Retreat was SonaSpray fcx acoustic spray at 12mm thick, applied in arctic white throughout and spray painted off white in the main meditation space.

The SonaSpray acoustic spray range is also able to tick more boxes, due to it being made from Class 0 fire rated recycled paper and achieving M1 certification for emissions; the best classification achievable.

The end result, thanks to the SonaSpray acoustic spray, is a calm and relaxing space in which to meditate, reflect and socialise.
